President Bola Tinubu convened a closed-door meeting with Nigeria’s top military and security service chiefs to discuss pressing national security issues. The meeting was held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, with only senior officials in attendance.
Sources revealed that the discussions focused on strategies to tackle insurgency, banditry, and other security threats across the country. Tinubu emphasized the need for coordinated efforts among all security agencies to protect citizens effectively.
The President also encouraged the service chiefs to provide regular updates on security operations and to propose innovative measures to strengthen intelligence gathering. The meeting reflected the administration’s commitment to tackling insecurity nationwide.
Officials present at the meeting stressed the importance of unity and collaboration among the military, police, and paramilitary agencies to ensure a safer Nigeria for all citizens.
