Chinese expatriate regains freedom in Edo after over three months

A Chinese expatriate who was kidnapped in Edo State has finally regained his freedom after being held for more than three months. Local authorities confirmed his release, explaining that security teams had worked quietly and consistently to track the kidnappers and secure his safe return. The victim was said to be weak but stable after spending such a long period in captivity.

According to security officials, the abductors had moved the expatriate between different hideouts to avoid being detected. Despite the difficulties, operatives from various security agencies continued their surveillance and eventually succeeded in rescuing him.
