The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ebonyi State has praised the newly appointed South-East caretaker committee, describing it as a positive step that will strengthen the party in the region. According to the party leaders, the committee brings together experienced members who understand the political challenges facing the zone and are ready to reposition the PDP for greater success.
Party officials explained that the committee’s mandate includes reconciling aggrieved members, rebuilding structures, and preparing the party for upcoming elections. They expressed confidence that the fresh leadership will unite the party and restore trust among supporters across the South-East. The Ebonyi PDP also noted that the committee’s formation shows the national leadership’s commitment to fairness and inclusiveness.
Members of the party in the state added that the new leadership team is expected to improve internal organisation and resolve long-standing issues affecting the PDP in the region.
