Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, has assured residents that his administration will maintain strict and responsible fiscal management as it prepares the 2026 budget. He explained that the government is focused on spending wisely, blocking leakages, and ensuring every allocation delivers real value to the people.
Soludo emphasized that the 2026 budget will focus on practical development goals, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, and digital transformation. According to him, the state must continue to prioritize projects that directly support economic growth and improve the livelihoods of citizens.
The governor added that his administration will keep financial transparency at the center of all budgetary decisions. He noted that proper planning, accountability, and data-driven strategies remain essential in ensuring that public funds are used efficiently and without waste.
