Governor Kefas of Taraba State has directed the immediate deboarding of all schools across the state. The move aims to ensure the safety of students following rising security concerns in the region.

The directive comes after reports of attacks and threats targeting educational institutions. The state government emphasized that the safety and well-being of children remain a top priority, and no school should operate until security is guaranteed.

Officials from the Ministry of Education and local security agencies have been tasked with overseeing the deboarding process. Governor Kefas assured parents and guardians that the government is taking all necessary measures to protect students and staff.

The governor also urged communities to cooperate with authorities and report any suspicious activities around schools. He promised that the state would resume educational activities once security in schools is fully restored.
