Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has described the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) as the “intellectual engine room” of Northern Nigeria. He said the group has consistently provided ideas, research, and guidance that help leaders address challenges affecting the region. According to him, the ACF has remained a strong voice for peace, unity, and development in the North.
Governor Sani noted that the ACF has played an important role in shaping policies and offering solutions to issues such as insecurity, poverty, and education. He said the organisation brings together respected elders and professionals who use their knowledge to advise government and promote progress. The governor added that the forum’s contributions have been valuable for many years.
He praised the ACF for staying committed to the region even during difficult times. According to him, the group has always encouraged dialogue, promoted unity among Northern states, and spoken against division. He believes that their influence has helped keep the North focused on long-term development goals despite ongoing challenges.
Governor Sani encouraged the ACF to continue providing guidance to leaders and supporting policies that will uplift communities. He explained that the North still needs strong institutions that can think, analyse, and rally people together. He assured the forum that his government and others in the region value their work and will continue to partner with them.
