Adamawa State Police have arrested a suspected human trafficker and successfully rescued two female victims from his custody. The police disclosed that the operation was part of ongoing efforts to tackle human trafficking and protect vulnerable citizens.
According to the police spokesperson, the suspect had been luring young women with false promises of employment and better opportunities. The victims were rescued in a timely operation, preventing further harm.
The police also revealed that the suspect is currently undergoing interrogation, and efforts are ongoing to uncover if he has connections to other human trafficking networks. Authorities have assured the public that the victims are receiving care and support following their rescue.
