2027: Saraki’s outburst shows no future in PDP- Group

A political advocacy group has reacted to Bukola Saraki’s recent comments about the 2027 elections, saying his outburst clearly shows that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is struggling and has no clear direction. According to the group, Saraki’s statements reflect deep frustration within the party, which has continued to face internal division and leadership crises.

The group argued that Saraki’s remarks are not just personal opinions but a sign that key members no longer believe the PDP can reclaim power in 2027. They said the former Senate President’s tone shows a loss of confidence, especially as the party has failed to unite or present a strong plan ahead of the next general election.

According to the group, Nigerians are tired of constant infighting within the PDP. They added that the party’s inability to reform or settle disputes makes it difficult for the public to take it seriously. “If leaders like Saraki are openly showing frustration, it means the problem is bigger than many think,” the group stated.

They concluded that unless the PDP rebuilds its structure and restores trust among its members, it risks becoming completely irrelevant by 2027. The group urged the party to address its leadership issues, reconnect with Nigerians, and find a clear political direction before it is too late.
