Kwara United have been handed a major boost as three key players — Saheed Olaniyi, Bright Babatunde, and Moses Ajiboye — return from injury ahead of their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday 10 fixture against Rangers International of Enugu.
The trio, who missed the Harmony Boys’ last three league matches, have been declared fit to feature in Sunday’s clash at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu. Their return is a big relief for newly appointed technical adviser Ashifat Suleiman, who is eager to secure a positive result and make his mark in charge of the team.
Kwara United’s squad depth has been a concern in recent games, with injuries limiting options in both attack and defence. However, the return of Olaniyi, Babatunde, and Ajiboye is expected to strengthen the side and boost morale as they prepare to face a strong Rangers team.
The Harmony Boys, who won the 2025 President Federation Cup, currently sit 11th on the NPFL table with 12 points. A win in Enugu would move them closer to the top half of the standings and build momentum for the coming fixtures.
Fans are optimistic that with a fitter squad and renewed energy under Coach Suleiman, Kwara United can get back to winning ways and continue their fight for a better position in the league.
