The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has confirmed the assumption of duty by its new acting chairman, who officially took over the leadership of the commission in Abuja. The change in leadership follows the temporary absence of the substantive chairman, with the acting chair stepping in to ensure continuity in INEC’s operations and preparations for upcoming elections.
