Popular activist and social media personality, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has surprised Nigerians with the launch of his own power stations to help address the country’s electricity challenges. The project is designed mainly for university students and people living in ghettos, giving them cheaper and steady access to light.
VDM revealed that while the stations normally cost around ₦200,000, he will make some available for as low as ₦70,000. According to him, this decision is not about profit but about making an impact in people’s lives. Each power station will also carry his name, showing his personal commitment to the initiative.
The move comes shortly after his trip to China, which seems to have opened new opportunities for him. Many Nigerians have praised the project as a bold step that proves change is possible when individuals use their influence to solve real problems.
