Senate President Godswill Akpabio has called on Nigerians to continue enduring the difficulties that have come with President Bola Tinubu’s economic reforms. He acknowledged that the removal of fuel subsidy, currency reforms, and other policies have created hardship for citizens, but insisted they are necessary for Nigeria’s long-term growth and stability.

Akpabio stressed that although the reforms have caused rising prices and discomfort, they are steps aimed at restructuring the economy and ensuring better opportunities in the future. He encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful, assuring that the Federal Government is committed to making life better through infrastructure development, job creation, and economic revival.

The Senate President also appealed for patience, noting that true reforms take time before results are felt.
