Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has kicked off a series of town hall meetings across the state as part of preparations for the 2026 budget. The move is aimed at ensuring inclusiveness, transparency, and accountability in government planning. By meeting directly with citizens, the governor is giving the people an opportunity to share their needs and priorities, which will guide how funds are allocated in the coming year.

During the first sessions, Governor Oyebanji emphasized that the budget is not just a government document but a people’s roadmap for development.
