Fear has gripped several communities in Kwara State after armed bandits launched fresh attacks, killing a pregnant woman and several others. The violent incident forced many residents to abandon their homes in search of safety.

Eyewitnesses reported that the attackers stormed the villages late at night, shooting sporadically and leaving trails of destruction. Families were thrown into mourning, while survivors fled to nearby towns and bushes to escape the assault.

Community leaders have appealed to the government and security agencies to urgently step in and protect lives, stressing that continuous attacks have left the people vulnerable and hopeless. Many are calling for stronger security presence and lasting solutions to the growing insecurity in the region.
