Rapper Young Thug says he doesn’t trust gay men who are not open about their s3xuality

Rapper Young Thug has sparked debate after talking about men who reveal they are gay only after first acting straight. He said this makes him view them differently.

On the Perspektives with Bank podcast, Young Thug compared the situation to someone betraying a friend by telling authorities about them. He said that when a man first acts straight and later says he is gay, it feels like a breach of trust to him.

Young Thug explained that he is fine meeting men who openly say they are gay from the start. His issue is with people who change how they present themselves after he already trusts them.

He said, “I don’t mind if a man tells me he’s gay from the beginning. But if I see you one way and later find out you’re gay, I can’t feel the same.” He stressed that discovering this after believing someone was straight feels different to him.

The rapper also said he is not homophobic. He pointed out that he works with gay people and supports the LGBTQ+ community. However, many criticized his remarks as offensive and said they might reinforce stereotypes.
