Super Falcons star, Asisat Oshoala, is on the verge of signing with Saudi Arabian women’s club Al-Hilal.

The Nigerian striker will leave U.S.-based National Women’s Soccer League side Bay FC to begin a new chapter in the Saudi Professional Women’s Football League.

According to reports from The Athletic, the 30-year-old touched down in Riyadh on Monday and successfully completed her medical tests.

Oshoala had only joined Bay FC earlier in February 2024 after leaving Spanish champions Barcelona Femeni.

Her final game for Bay FC came in a narrow 3-2 home loss against Washington Spirit last Saturday.

By making this move, Oshoala joins other Nigerian stars already shining in the Saudi league, including Ashleigh Plumptre, Francisca Ordega, Rita Chikwelu, and Chinonyerem Macleans.
