Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has revealed who he thinks are the best wingers in the world right now.
The 45-year-old made the comment during a quick question-and-answer session with ESPN.
When asked to pick the top three wingers currently, Gerrard chose Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior, and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah.
Gerrard said simply: “Lamine Yamal, Vinicius, and Mo Salah.”
Last season, Yamal played a key role in Barcelona winning the LaLiga title and is now seen as a strong candidate for the 2025 Ballon d’Or.
Vinicius, who came second in the 2024 Ballon d’Or behind Manchester City’s Rodri, continues to shine for Real Madrid.
Salah, on the other hand, helped Liverpool lift the Premier League trophy last season, showing why he remains among the best.
