Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has called for justice following a serious accident involving the younger sister of reality TV star Phyna. The incident reportedly involved a truck linked to the Dangote Group in Auchi, Edo State.
The young woman, who had just graduated six days before the accident, had to undergo an amputation of one leg and faces the risk of losing the other.
According to Henshaw, the truck driver tried to escape the scene but was caught after an eyewitness, identified as a lecturer, gave chase.
She also claimed that the truck’s license plate had been removed. The police are currently holding the vehicle as the investigation continues.
Henshaw urged the Nigerian Police Force to ensure that those responsible face the law. She wrote on social media: “She is the junior sister to @unusualphyna. Whoever owns the truck should own up. Calling on @PoliceNG @BenHundeyin to make sure justice is served.”
Earlier, Phyna had also appealed to Aliko Dangote, accusing a truck linked to his company of causing the accident that seriously injured her sister.
Phyna further claimed that the Dangote Group was trying to protect the people involved in the incident.
Social media activist VeryDarkMan joined the calls for justice, sharing a video showing the victim in critical condition and demanding accountability.
