Andy Carroll has admitted he made a mistake and is hoping to get back together with his ex-girlfriend Lou Teasdale. Their year-long relationship reportedly ended because of his partying habits.
Friends of Carroll say he now regrets breaking up. A close friend told The Sun that Andy is worried about the split. After Lou complained about his drinking, he lashed out, but now he has reopened the door.
He has even followed her again on Instagram and added her photos back. People close to them believe it might not last, but both are thinking about giving it one more try.
The couple started dating shortly after Carroll’s split from his ex-wife Billi Mucklow. Their breakup came eight weeks after Carroll was questioned by police over two alcohol-fueled arguments during a holiday in Greece.
A source said he became frustrated with Lou’s influencer lifestyle and social media posts, which led him to end the relationship. He is now single.
After the split, Carroll removed all traces of Lou from his social media. A friend said Andy and Lou had been having big arguments for a while. Now back in the UK, he wants to focus on football and his children instead of the influencer lifestyle.
He enjoys simple things like spending time with his kids and playing football. Fame and money no longer matter to him, and these issues had caused problems in the relationship.
Carroll’s partying was a major source of tension between them. A mutual friend said Andy has had a very difficult year since his marriage ended. Lou, who is sober, wanted him to stop drinking, though she had dated others who drink in the past.

She cares for him deeply, but their relationship was often toxic. Andy needs to make changes if they are to work things out, but he isn’t sure he can commit yet.
Carroll, 36, and Teasdale began their relationship soon after his split from Mucklow last summer, making it a turbulent year for the footballer both on and off the pitch.
