Actress Ireti Doyle shares throwback photo as she reminisces on her colourful Nollywood journey

Veteran actress Ireti Doyle recently reflected on a memorable moment from her past, as she shared an old photo from one of her early Nollywood roles. Taking to Instagram, she revealed that a colleague had sent her a forgotten snapshot from the 2006 film Sitanda, which brought back vivid memories of that time in her career.

The movie, directed by Izu Ojukwu, was a significant part of her acting journey. Ireti recalled the experience with fondness, highlighting the impact the project had, both personally and within the film industry.

Sitanda was not just a milestone for her—it turned out to be a standout production in Nollywood. That same year, the film received wide acclaim, landing nominations in 11 different categories at the prestigious Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), a true testament to its quality and the efforts of the cast and crew.
