Self-proclaimed activist VeryDarkMan has revealed that he once told singer Naira Marley to arrest Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo for allegedly defaming him online in the wake of Mohbad’s death. He said her comments online damaged Marley’s image and music career, but the singer refused to act, saying he would leave everything to God.

VeryDarkMan explained that both he and Naira Marley had prepared to take legal action against Iyabo Ojo at the Lagos State Commissioner of Police’s office. However, according to him, the plan fell apart when Iyabo Ojo apologized in Yoruba at the meeting. Naira Marley immediately forgave her, which left VeryDarkMan disappointed.

He shared that he had encouraged Naira to speak firmly and insist that Iyabo’s statements had affected his reputation. But the moment she apologized, Naira Marley softened. VeryDarkMan said he was shocked and unhappy with that decision.

He added that Sam Larry, who was also present, protested Naira Marley’s quick forgiveness. Sam Larry reportedly broke down in tears, believing that accepting the apology was a mistake.

This comes months after both Naira Marley and Sam Larry were cleared of any involvement in the death of Mohbad, a singer formerly signed to Marley’s record label.
