Famous DJ and music producer Calvin Harris has become a dad for the first time. He and his wife, Vick Hope, recently welcomed a baby boy into their lives.
The couple’s son, Micah, was born on Sunday, July 20. Calvin shared the joyful news on Instagram with some sweet photos. In his caption, he wrote: “20th of July, our boy arrived. Micah is here!”
He also praised his wife, calling her a superhero and expressing his admiration for her strength and wisdom during childbirth. Calvin added how grateful he felt, saying they both love their son deeply.
In the same post, Calvin shared that they chose to preserve Vick’s placenta by drying it and turning it into capsules — a unique choice some believe offers health benefits after birth.
Vick Hope, a well-known presenter on BBC Radio 1’s Going Home show, is now embracing motherhood. She and Calvin got married in 2023, and just over a year later, they’re celebrating the birth of their first child together.
