Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, who represents Katsina Central, has dismissed claims that he intends to leave the All Progressives Congress (APC).

In a statement released on Sunday night, the senator denied reports suggesting he was preparing to defect to the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

He described the rumours as baseless and blamed them on misleading stories from some media platforms.

Yar’adua emphasized that his loyalty remains with the APC and President Bola Tinubu, making it clear that he has no intention of switching parties.

“I want to firmly state that I remain committed to the APC and will continue to support the party,” the senator said.

He called on the press to ignore any headlines implying otherwise.

The lawmaker also clarified that not everyone with the Yar’adua surname is politically connected to him.
