Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo has said that his club did a better job in the transfer market this summer than their rivals, Real Madrid.
While Real Madrid signed well-known players like Trent Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool, Barcelona also added top talent such as Marcus Rashford from Manchester United.
Real Madrid, now coached by Xabi Alonso, have signed four new players this summer. That’s one more than Barcelona’s three new signings.
In an interview with Cope, Olmo, who plays for Spain’s national team, said Barcelona’s new signings are of higher quality compared to Real Madrid’s.
Olmo stated confidently, “We have made better signings than Real Madrid.”
Last season, Real Madrid didn’t win any trophies even after signing star player Kylian Mbappe from PSG.
Under manager Carlo Ancelotti, Real Madrid lost to Barcelona four times last season.
This summer, Barcelona also signed Joan Garcia and young talent Roony Bardghji.
