Lere Olayinka, the media aide to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has made fun of former Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye. This came after Melaye expressed regret for supporting the All Progressives Congress (APC) to gain power.

Olayinka labeled Melaye a “former blind man” and a “tree climber.” He also reminded Melaye about not voting in his own governorship election. This happened during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today. Melaye had said, “I regret supporting APC; I was blind then, now I can see.”

In a response to Melaye’s statement, Olayinka sarcastically referred to him as the “former blind man” and “tree climber” and asked, “Was it blindness that stopped you from voting in your own election? How can someone be at home making social media content and not vote on the day of their own election?”
