Inter Milan’s president, Giuseppe Marotta, has said that this week is very important if the club still wants to bring in Nigerian forward, Ademola Lookman, from Atalanta.
The Italian club, also known as the Nerazzurri, is seriously interested in adding Lookman to their attack before the new season starts.
But talks between Inter Milan and Atalanta have not gone well so far, and both clubs are finding it hard to agree on the deal.
Marotta shared that they have only two or three days left to try and make the transfer happen. If not, they will move on to other players.
“This week is very important for the Lookman transfer,” Marotta said. “We are talking to Atalanta because we want Lookman, but we also respect their position.”
He added that they hope to make progress within a few days. If not, they will look at other options for new signings.
