Former governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, has announced that he is fully in support of President Bola Tinubu running for a second term in office.

Fayose also gave his full support to the current governor of Ekiti State, Abayomi Oyebanji, saying he should continue for another four years.

He made this statement during a campaign rally held in Ado Ekiti, where Governor Oyebanji launched his second-term bid.

According to Fayose, what makes the event special is that all former governors of Ekiti State have come together to support the sitting governor—something that has never happened before.

Speaking at the rally, Fayose said, “I am openly declaring my full support for President Bola Tinubu to contest again.”

He also added, “I’m endorsing our governor, Oyebanji, and his deputy for a second term. Congratulations to you both.”

Fayose described the gathering as historic. He said it is the first time that past governors, former political leaders, and National Assembly members in the state are united in backing one governor.
