Transfer: Chelsea negotiate Felix, Hato, Xavi deals as Barça conclude signing of players

Chelsea are busy working behind the scenes to sign three exciting players: Jorrel Hato from Ajax, Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig, and João Félix from Benfica.

Both Hato and Simons are very interested in joining the London club. Reports say Hato has already agreed to personal terms, and Chelsea are making good progress in finalizing a deal for Simons as well.

Well-known transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that Chelsea are now discussing transfer fees with Ajax for Hato and with Leipzig for Simons. The club hopes to reach a final agreement soon.

At the same time, Chelsea are also in talks with Benfica to sign João Félix. Negotiations are continuing as both sides try to settle on a deal that works for everyone.

Félix’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is said to have a very good relationship with both Chelsea and Benfica. This has made the discussions smoother, and the player is also eager to join Chelsea permanently.

While Chelsea are still busy in the market, Barcelona have finished all their transfer business for the summer of 2025. They are not planning to bring in any new players.

Barcelona president Joan Laporta told Mundo Deportivo that the club is happy with the current squad. He said the coach prefers to bring in more players from the club’s reserve team instead of signing new ones.

Laporta made it clear that Barcelona will focus on using homegrown talent to improve the first team, and no new deals are expected before the window closes.
