Nigerian singer Teni has shared her disappointment over not being able to release a song she recorded with Wizkid. She said the reason was because of issues between Wizkid and the producer, Northboi.

Teni revealed that she and Wizkid had already done a track together, but it never got released. She blamed the problem on Northboi’s fallout with Wizkid, which affected their plans for the song.

In a video she posted, Teni expressed her anger, saying she can never forgive Northboi for ruining her chance to work with Wizkid. She used strong words in Pidgin English, calling Northboi “useless” and saying “God go punish you.”

The conflict between Wizkid and Northboi goes back to 2019, when Northboi said Wizkid didn’t give him proper credit for producing the hit song “Joro.” He also claimed that Wizkid threatened him with a gun when he asked for a contract for the beats.

However, in 2022, people thought things had been settled between the two after a video surfaced showing them together in the studio. In the clip, Wizkid said they were working together again and laughed with Northboi.

Teni’s comment now shows that the past issues may have had a lasting effect on others too, especially her unreleased project with Wizkid.
