A video of Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, has gone viral on social media after he almost made a mistake during a tribute speech for late President Muhammadu Buhari.

The incident happened at a church programme, where the governor joined others to honour the memory of the former Nigerian leader who passed away on Sunday, July 13.

While speaking to the congregation, Uzodinma meant to mention Buhari’s name but instead almost said Bola Tinubu, who is Nigeria’s current president. He quickly corrected himself and continued with his tribute.

The short clip has sparked conversations online, with many viewers reacting to the governor’s near slip during the emotional moment.
