Liverpool are getting closer to completing a big-money transfer for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Hugo Ekitike.

Reliable transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed that Liverpool has made an offer to Frankfurt that could reach €90 million, including performance-related bonuses.

The Reds have also reached a full agreement with Ekitike himself. The French striker is set to sign a contract that will keep him at Anfield for six years.

Liverpool and Eintracht Frankfurt are now working on finalising the exact structure of the add-ons included in the deal. Talks between both clubs are expected to continue today.

Ekitike has already informed his current club that his top choice is to join Liverpool, making it clear he wants to move to Anfield.
