Beyoncé’s unreleased music stolen from car during Cowboy Carter tour

Beyoncé’s private and unreleased songs were stolen last week during a stop on her Cowboy Carter tour in Atlanta. The stolen music files were stored on hard drives that were inside a car rented by her choreographer.

Atlanta police received a call about a theft on July 8 and quickly arrived at the scene to investigate.

Officers found that two suitcases were taken from a rented Jeep Wagoneer parked at a parking garage on Krog Street. The suitcases belonged to Beyoncé’s choreographer, Christopher Grant, and one of her backup dancers, Diandre Blue.

Inside the bags were two laptops and several hard drives. The drives contained special music files that included unreleased songs, video plans, concert footage, and lists of past and upcoming performances.

The case is now being handled by Atlanta Police Department’s Larceny from Auto Unit. Investigators have issued an arrest warrant for a suspect, but the person’s name has not been released yet.

Christopher Grant also said that $1,000 worth of clothes, a $500 pair of Tom Ford sunglasses, and a Tumi backpack worth $750 were taken. Diandre Blue reported that a MacBook Air and a pair of headphones were also stolen.

Police are still working on the case, and fans hope the unreleased music can be recovered soon.
