Al-Nassr: I want to help Cristiano Ronaldo – Jesus

Newly appointed Al-Nassr manager, Jorge Jesus, has shared that he wants to help Cristiano Ronaldo succeed and win titles with the club.

The experienced coach also revealed that if Ronaldo wasn’t at Al-Nassr, he might not have accepted the job.

On Monday evening, Al-Nassr officially named Jorge Jesus as their new manager.

Jesus takes over from Stefano Pioli, who left the club after a disappointing season. Al-Nassr finished third in the Saudi Pro League and missed out on major trophies.

Speaking after his appointment, Jorge Jesus said Ronaldo played a big role in his decision to join. He said, “If Cristiano Ronaldo wasn’t here, I probably wouldn’t have come.”

Jesus added that both he and Ronaldo are used to winning, and Al-Nassr must now aim for titles. He said Ronaldo hasn’t won much at the club yet, so he wants to help him achieve that.

He also mentioned that working with Ronaldo will be easier because they both speak Portuguese and understand each other well.
