England winger Jadon Sancho is almost set to become a Juventus player after Manchester United agreed to sell him for £17.3 million.
Manchester United has been keen to let go of Sancho during this summer transfer window.
Recently, Chelsea had the chance to sign Sancho for £25 million but turned it down. Instead, they returned him to Man United and paid a £5 million fee for ending the deal early.
Earlier in the window, Sancho had a verbal agreement with Napoli. However, Napoli refused to pay Man United’s asking price of £21.3 million, so the move didn’t happen.
According to Italian news outlet La Stampa, Juventus and Manchester United had a good meeting this week. Both clubs agreed on a £17.3 million transfer fee for the England international.
The report also says Sancho has already agreed on personal terms with Juventus. He will earn just over £5.2 million per year at the Italian club.
However, Sancho and Manchester United still need to finalize his severance package. The winger wants at least £4.3 million before officially leaving Old Trafford.
