Chelsea Football Club has made almost £80 million after getting to the final of the FIFA Club World Cup.
On Wednesday night, they won their semi-final match against Brazilian side Fluminense. The match ended 2-0 in Chelsea’s favour.
The two goals were scored by Joao Pedro. He just joined the team last week from Brighton for around £60 million. Despite being new, he showed great performance in the match.
Now, Chelsea is waiting to play against either Paris Saint-Germain or Real Madrid in the final, which will take place on Sunday.
If they win, this will be their second big trophy of the season. They already won the UEFA Conference League earlier this year.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared on social media platform X that Chelsea has already earned almost £80 million from their Club World Cup journey so far.
He also praised the team’s coach, Enzo Maresca, for doing a great job this season. Under his leadership, Chelsea returned to the UEFA Champions League, won the Conference League, and are now one win away from lifting another major trophy.
