Popular Nigerian social media activist and influencer, VeryDarkMan, whose real name is Vincent Otse Martins, has spoken up about why he’s revisiting the call for justice for the late singer, Mohbad.
In a recent post on Instagram, he revealed that he’s returning to the matter now because he has gained more influence, followers, and resources to push the cause more effectively than before.
He also addressed the criticism from some people who believe he’s using the case for fame or profit. VeryDarkMan denied these claims, explaining that he has been spending his own money to support the fight for justice.
According to him, one major reason for restarting the campaign is that his online movement, Ratel, is now stronger than ever. He believes this is the perfect time to bring the issue back to public attention and ensure justice is served.
Responding to clout-chasing accusations, he mentioned that he gave Mohbad’s driver ₦300,000 and even promised him a job because the man is struggling financially. He also supported Primeboy, whose music career has been affected by the case.
VeryDarkMan went on to say that he has already spent close to ₦3 million in his efforts to get justice for Mohbad. He made it clear that the case is not over, and he is ready to continue pushing until the truth is revealed and justice is achieved.
“Small small, una go see am,” he said, promising that things are just getting started.
