Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has made it very clear—any player who is not happy at Stamford Bridge should leave the club.
The Italian coach said he only wants players who are truly happy and committed to being part of the team.
Maresca made this statement when speaking about reports linking winger Noni Madueke with a possible move to Arsenal.
After Chelsea’s victory over Palmeiras in the Club World Cup early Saturday morning, Maresca told reporters that Madueke has been a very important player for the team.
However, he stressed that his main message to both the players and the club is simple—he only wants happy players around. According to him, anyone who isn’t happy is free to go.
Chelsea will now turn their focus to their next game against Fluminense in the Club World Cup semi-final on Tuesday.
