Wake up! – 2Face Idibia’s brother pens open letter to him, says the singer is trapped and needs helps

Charles Idibia, the brother of Nigerian music star 2Baba, also known as 2Face Idibia, wrote a public letter to his famous sibling. He shared his deep feelings about the singer’s personal life in a long post on Instagram.

In the letter, Charles praised 2Baba, calling him a gentle and caring man who avoids fights. He said 2Baba often puts others first, even when it makes him uncomfortable. Charles compared him to a modern Jesus, who quietly suffers being blamed by others to protect those who hurt him.

However, the letter quickly turned serious as Charles accused a woman, said to be 2Baba’s current partner, of troubling actions. He said she once broke into 2Baba’s phone and announced their divorce without his knowledge. She also posted a picture of herself on his social media and asked Nigerians to encourage 2Baba to marry her, all while he was asleep.

Charles went further to accuse her of copying 2Baba’s WhatsApp, deleting and answering messages pretending to be him. He said she took control of his email and other accounts and kept him away from his management team.

He added that this woman convinced 2Baba to leave his management and business in Lagos and move to Abuja. She also allegedly took him on trips to places like Benin, which Charles said the real 2Baba wouldn’t do.

Charles claimed she caused problems during his business trips, spread false stories, created confusion, and even started calling herself 2Baba’s wife to strangers, even though he is still legally married.

In another part of the post, Charles said 2Baba is not acting like himself anymore. He believes the singer is being emotionally hurt while thinking it is love.

He wrote, “If your girlfriend makes you take back what you said on a podcast just because you didn’t say her name, she is not a girlfriend. She is a crazy fan and a harmful parasite. You are living a real-life crime story like the shows you watch.”

Charles ended the letter with a loving advice: “Please take a few months alone. Stay off social media completely. Let your music and businesses wait. Take time to heal for the sake of your seven beautiful children.”
