Tech billionaire Elon Musk has once again criticized former President Donald Trump—this time warning that a new political party could be created if Trump’s latest policy bill goes through.
Musk made the warning on Monday on his social media platform, X. He was referring to a major bill pushed by Trump, which is now awaiting approval in the U.S. Senate.
Trump believes this bill includes all the big promises he made during his campaigns, especially in areas like tax cuts, immigration, military funding, energy, and reducing national debt.
However, Musk strongly disagrees. He called the proposal an “insane spending bill” and said that if it becomes law, he will start a new political party called the America Party the very next day.
According to Daily Post, this isn’t the first time Musk has spoken out. Earlier this month, he got into a serious argument with Trump over the same policy.
In more messages posted on X on Monday, Musk repeated his idea of starting a fresh political group. He criticized lawmakers who campaigned on reducing spending but are now supporting what he calls the “biggest debt increase in history.”
He also warned that those politicians will lose their seats in next year’s primaries, and he will personally make sure of that.
“If this crazy bill is passed, I will launch the America Party the next day,” Musk stated.
He added that the U.S. needs a new option beyond the current two-party system, which he described as one big group pretending to be two sides. Musk said, “The people need a real voice.”
