Nigerian defender Kenneth Omeruo has made a bold claim about fellow Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen. According to Omeruo, no defender in the Turkish league is good enough to stop Osimhen on the pitch.

He made this statement while the football world waits to see what Osimhen’s next move will be, as his future in club football is still uncertain.

Last season, Osimhen left Italian side Napoli and joined Turkish club Galatasaray on loan. His performance was outstanding.

During his time with Galatasaray, Osimhen scored 37 goals. His goals helped the club win both the Turkish Super Lig and the Turkish Cup.

Even though he received several offers from Saudi club Al-Hilal, Osimhen decided not to accept them. He has made it clear that he wants to keep playing in Europe.

Galatasaray is now working hard to bring him back on a permanent deal, especially since top clubs in Europe seem slow to make official moves for him.

Speaking in an interview with GsGazete, Omeruo described Osimhen’s qualities. He said, “Do you know how strong he is? He has speed, quick movements, and agility.”

Omeruo added that Osimhen’s speed is unmatched in Turkey. “No defender in Türkiye can stop him. He moves very fast right from his first step,” he said.

Victor Osimhen’s future may still be undecided, but his impact in Turkey and the confidence his fellow players have in him speak volumes.
