British-Nigerian pastor Rev. Jide Macaulay, who is openly gay, joined the Pride parade in Toronto, Canada on Sunday, June 29. The event is held every year to support and celebrate LGBTQ people.

Rev. Macaulay, who works as a chaplain at St. Peter’s House, which serves students from Manchester’s universities, shared pictures of himself at the event on Instagram the next day.

In one of the photos, he proudly signed off with the words: “Happy Holy Homos3xual,” showing his joy and pride as both a religious leader and a member of the LGBTQ community.
