United state President Donald Trump has praised the B-2 bomber pilots who returned safely to Missouri after carrying out a military operation during the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran. He shared his message on Truth Social on Sunday evening. In his post, Trump said the B-2 pilots had landed safely in Missouri and thanked them for a job well done.
Earlier, a group of elite B-2 Spirit stealth bombers had taken off from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. They were sent to Iran as part of a secret mission to destroy nuclear sites. Trump later confirmed the operation and shared details about the mission online.
According to senior defense officials, the B-2 bombers attacked three nuclear sites in Iran. Trump named the locations as Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. He described the mission as very successful in a post shared just before 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
At the same time, the US has moved more B-2 bombers to Guam, a Pacific island. Trump is still deciding whether the US should officially join Israel in its growing military campaign against Iran.
