Transfer: ‘Osimhen convinced to stay at Galatasaray’ – Özcan gives fresh update

Victor Osimhen’s future at Galatasaray has been a hot topic for football fans and clubs across Europe. Recently, respected Turkish sports journalist Ömer Faruk Özcan shared some fresh news about the Nigerian striker’s transfer plans.

According to Özcan, Osimhen has been convinced to stay at Galatasaray even after the summer transfer window closes. This is despite strong interest from big European teams, including Chelsea.

Galatasaray’s president, Abdullah Kavukcu, is now in talks with Napoli to sign Osimhen permanently. The 26-year-old attacker has impressed many during his loan spell at the Turkish club.

This announcement comes shortly after Galatasaray secured the signing of Leroy Sane from Bayern Munich, adding more strength to their team.

Özcan told the media outlet habersarikirmizi, “The second big signing for Galatasaray is complete. Leroy Sane is done, and Osimhen is next. The player agreed to stay. President Kavukcu is negotiating with Napoli to make the transfer permanent.”

Galatasaray’s vice president Ibrahim Hatipoglu is also confident that Osimhen will join the club on a permanent basis. The Turkish champions want to keep Osimhen after his impressive performances last season.

If the deal goes through, Osimhen will continue to be a key player for Galatasaray, helping the club compete for titles in Turkey and Europe.
