Tinubu Approves Recruitment Of 30,150 Personnel Into Paramilitary Agencies

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has given the green light for the recruitment of thousands of new workers into Nigeria’s paramilitary forces. These recruitments will be managed by the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), according to a report by News360 Nigeria.

A detailed breakdown shows how the 30,150 new job openings will be shared among different agencies. This plan is part of efforts to strengthen the country’s security and emergency response units.

Here’s how the jobs will be divided:

5,150 new positions in the Correctional Service

10,000 roles in the Nigeria Immigration Service

5,000 spots in the Federal Fire Service

10,000 positions in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)

209 staff for the board itself (CDCFIB)

The recruitment will officially begin on Friday, June 13, 2025. Each agency will have its own online application portal for interested Nigerians to apply.

People who want to apply will have three weeks to submit their applications online. Only those who meet the qualifications should apply.
