Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, known as Tems, will make history by headlining the very first FIFA Club World Cup Final halftime show.
FIFA revealed on Monday, June 9, 2025, that Tems will perform alongside famous American rapper Doja Cat and Colombian star J Balvin at the halftime event produced by Global Citizen.
The Club World Cup final match is scheduled for July 13 and will be held at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA.
The halftime show is put together by Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay, and fans can watch it for free on the website DAZN.com.
Tems shared her excitement, saying, “We will unite the world for a special moment — to celebrate football, enjoy the power of music, and help millions of children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. I’m looking forward to seeing you all at the Club World Cup final!”
This FIFA Club World Cup will include 32 teams from all over the world competing.
The games will be played across 12 stadiums in 11 different cities across the United States, starting on June 14, 2025.
