I regret fighting for you. You are such a weak man – Isaac Fayose reacts to photos of Gov Fubara with President Tinubu

Isaac Fayose, a businessman and popular social commentator, has openly said he regrets standing up for Sim Fubara, the suspended governor of Rivers State.

Fayose shared his thoughts after seeing photos of Fubara visiting President Bola Tinubu at his home in Lagos on Tuesday, June 3.

In the video he made, he described Governor Fubara as a “weakling.”

‘’Fubara that was a governor three months ago, all he does now is to go and take pictures either with President in London or Lagos or stand outside Aso Rock or stand outside Wike’s house. They have changed his destiny. He is now taking pictures with his enemy. What a weak man, Fubara! You are very weak. I regret even fighting for you. Very weak man. Weakling!”

According to Fayose, the photos made him feel disappointed because he had strongly supported Fubara during his political struggles. Now, he sees Fubara as a weak person who couldn’t stand firm in his fight.

It’s important to remember that President Tinubu suspended Sim Fubara from office in March. This happened because of an ongoing political crisis between Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike, who is also known to have played a big role in Fubara’s rise to power.

Fayose’s reaction shows how tense and divided Nigerian politics can be, especially when past alliances start to fall apart.
