The Benue State Police Command has recently introduced a new Public Relations Officer following some important administrative changes approved by Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Udeme Edet has been selected to serve as the new Police Public Relations Officer. In her new role, she is responsible for managing public engagement and handling media relations for the command.
DSP Edet is a proud graduate of the Nigeria Police Academy in Wudil, Kano State, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and International Relations. Her academic background is a strong foundation for the responsibilities that lie ahead.
Before assuming her current role, she gained valuable experience serving as the Divisional Crime Officer at Ikpai Omni Division in Calabar, Cross River State. This position helped her develop important skills that she will now bring to her role as the PPRO.
The Benue State Police Command is calling on both the public and the media to give their full support to DSP Edet. They believe that with her leadership, there will be a positive improvement in community relations and public safety throughout Benue State.
