Ademola Lookman, a Nigerian football star, recently showcased his achievements by visiting Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This comes after his incredible performance in the Europa League final, where he scored a hat trick, and being named the 2024 CAF African Footballer of the Year.
Governor Sanwo-Olu warmly received Lookman at Lagos House, Marina. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the Governor commended the Atalanta forward for his dedication, discipline, and ability to inspire Nigerian youths. He described Lookman’s journey as a testament to how far hard work and passion can take a person. “Thank you, Ademola, for representing Nigeria proudly and showing the world our potential,” Sanwo-Olu wrote.
Lookman also met with President Tinubu, where he presented his CAF Player of the Year plaque. The meeting was marked by photo opportunities with both the President and Governor, highlighting the nation’s pride in Lookman’s achievements.
This memorable visit celebrates Lookman’s rising prominence, both in African and European football, as he continues to bring honor to Nigeria on and off the pitch.
