Do not listen to naysayers, there’re opportunities – Minister Tijani to young Nigerians

Minister Bosun Tijani, who leads Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, recently spoke to young Nigerians about the great chances they have with new technology. He said young people should start using artificial intelligence (AI) and the digital world to improve their lives.

Tijani shared these thoughts during a live show on Channels Television called Youth Forum. The program was made to celebrate President Bola Tinubu’s two years in office.

The minister warned young Nigerians not to pay attention to those who say the government isn’t working for them or doesn’t care. He said these negative voices should not stop them from taking advantage of the opportunities available.

“You live in a time where AI is everywhere. You don’t even need much help—just try ChatGPT or any AI tool you like,” he said. This shows how easy it is to start learning and creating with AI.

Tijani also made it clear that President Tinubu’s government is working hard to create chances for the youth. He said government programs are open to everyone, no matter their tribe or religion.

He encouraged young people to do some research and find out which government programs they can join. There are many opportunities waiting for them if they look for them.

“Your generation belongs to the AI age. Use it. Look for the information and links that will help you,” the minister said.

He also shared that the government is bringing faster fiber optic internet to university dorms, making it easier for students to access online resources.

“We are lucky to have a president who wants to change Nigeria from a country full of promises to a country that gets things done,” Tijani added.

He explained that a good leader builds strong foundations so the country can have a better future.

Finally, the minister said President Tinubu is focused on making sure young Nigerians have real opportunities to grow and succeed.
