Actress Rita Edochie slams social media culture amid rising immorality allegations

Famous actress Rita Edochie has shared her worries about how social media is influencing people in a bad way. She believes that many people online are encouraging wrong actions and showing bad examples, especially when it comes to serious issues like child abuse. She feels this is causing a rise in bad morals and harmful behavior in society.

In a recent Instagram post, she wrote:

“UWA MMEBI……
PEOPLE NOW DO THE UNIMAGINABLE, PUBLICLY COME BEFORE THE WORLD AND BRAG WITH THEIR SHOULDERS HIGH. HMMMMM. WHERE’S THE REMORSE?”

In her caption, she further criticised how social media often fuels the problem:

“IMMORALITY AT ITS HIGHEST PEAK.
WHEN HAS CHILD ABUSE BECOME LEGAL?
WHEN HAS KEEPING AN AFFAIR WITH UNDERAGE (LESS THAN 18) BECOME A THING TO BE PROUD OF?

THE SICKENING THING HERE IS THAT SOCIAL MEDIA IS NOT EVEN HELPING MATTERS.
THEY HYPE AND TAKE SIDES WITH THIS EV!L WITH REASONS THAT ARE NEVER JUSTIFIABLE.

MAY GOD ALMIGHTY HELP THIS GENERATION.”

Although she didn’t say anyone’s name, many think her message was aimed at Speed Darlington, who recently made some shocking comments on social media. People believe Rita was indirectly answering his remarks, pointing out how harmful such online behavior can be.

Rita Edochie’s message reminds us to be careful about what we share and support on social media. The online world has a big influence, and spreading the right values is important to keep society safe and respectful.
